Environment & OHS Policy
Kaplam A.Ş.’s common goal with its senior management and all employees is; to ensure compliance in all stages of production and service activities, in line with the expectations and needs of our organization, employees, and society with the conditions of the Environment / OHS Management System and to improve its effectiveness continuously.
Kaplam A.Ş., which carries out injection molding, plastic part manufacturing and assembly operations has determined the following principles to achieve this goal:
- To maintain an Environment / OHS Management System supported by top management, adopted by all employees, implemented, audited, revised, and continuously improved for the relevant parties to monitor
- Fulfilling the requirements of all customers and other interacting organizations, including environmental / OHS legal requirements
- To control all waste amounts, primarily plastic wastes, their environmental impact, and to prevent pollution by ensuring the reduction of waste amounts, to protect the environment
- To ensure that control measures are taken to identify all risks related to occupational safety in their activities, to assess and continuously reduce risks;
- To plan and carry out activities in order to reach the working environment where work accidents and occupational diseases are “zero”, the events that may cause work accidents are analyzed and are constantly decreasing;
- To increase the environmental, occupational health and safety sensitivity of all our employees and suppliers by training and supporting their work in this direction;
- Encouraging and supporting effective use, recovery and reuse activities, and minimizing the consumption of energy and other natural resources;
- Using more recycled raw materials and technology with less negative environmental impact in all activities as much as possible.
As Kaplam we know that, our environment and nature do not belong to us and that it is a legacy we will leave to new generations. During production activities we ensure;
- To prevent the pollution of the environment,
- To use environmentally friendly products and raw materials in the products we produce,
- To avoid waste and using our natural resources, which are in danger of extinction, economically,
- To recycle the wastes generated during production by disposing of non-recyclables in a controlled manner and
- To provide trainings to our employees to be sensitive to the environment.
At Kaplam A.Ş.; the necessary infrastructure is being prepared for the prevention of occupational risks, the protection of health and safety, the elimination of risk and accident factors, the training of workers and their representatives on Occupational Health and Safety. Informing and taking the workers opinions and ensuring their balanced participation. is kept in the foreground.
