Kaplam A.S., which has been operating in the Karacabey Industrial Area since 2009, and is active in the automotive plastic injection industry, has received a Ford Q1 Certification which is a world standard in high quality production processes and superior customer satisfaction.

 

In the award ceremony that took place in the Kaplam A.S. factory on the 3rd of July 2018, Ford Otosan Purchasing Vice President, Given Ozyurt, presented Kaplam A.S. board member Hanibal Kaynakcioglu with the Q1 certification and flag.

 

During his speech, Kaplam A.S. board member Hanibal Kaynakcioglu said:

 

“We have secured the right to receive the Q1 certification from Ford Otosan starting on the 19th of February 2018, thanks to the hard work of you, the Kaplam family, and the support of the Ford Otosan team.

 

Today, we will, together with our employees, receive the Q1 certification and flag.

 

We believe that this Q1 distinction will be an important guide in achieving continuous improvement and our goal of perfection.

 

Q1 is not only recognized at Ford, but it also is a prestigious certification recognized by the entirety of the world automotive industry.

 

No matter how aware we are of the importance of having been awarded this certification, we are also cognizant of the steps that were taken to lead us here, and believe that we need to continue to take additional steps for further improvement.

 

I would like to thank the Kaplam family for their teamwork and hard work and the distinguished Ford Otosan officials for their support throughout the process of obtaining this certification.”

 

During the speech he gave while presenting Kaplam A.S. board member Hanibal Kaynakcioglu with the Q1 certification and flag, Ford Otosan Purchasing Vice President, Given Ozyurt, emphasized Ford Otosan’s satisfaction in working with Kaplam A.S. by saying: “It is hard to receive the Q1 Certification, and it is even harder to carry on operations in such a manner. I wholeheartedly believe that together, we will further raise the bar of the quality we have already achieved while working with Kaplam A.S., and continue to work together in new endeavors.”
