Kaplam A.S. receives “Bronze Star' from Ford Otosan
Kaplam A.S., which has been operation in the the Karacabey Industrial Area since 2009, and is active in the automotive plastic injection industry, has received the distinction of being in the top 10 of the most successful suppliers by receiving a “Bronze Star” during the seventh Supplier Award Ceremony of Ford Otosan.
Many upper level managers of Ford Otosan, alongside close to 500 supplier companies took part in this event. Ford Europe Vice President of Purchasing, Werner Puetz, was the one to present Kaplam A.S. with this award. In his speech, Ford Otosan General Manager, Haydar Yenigun, stated: “After 2018, where we had important successes in the international arena, we are now entering a year in which we will increase our growth abroad. Throughout this dynamic and exciting process, we are not forgetting our suppliers, who have greatly contributed to our successes, which is why we would hereby like to thank them for their support. The automotive industry is currently undergoing a quick and comprehensive transformation. Vehicles are becoming more and more technologically advanced, and development, production and acquisition processes are being reshaped.
As Ford Otosan, we can already see the tomorrow of our industry approaching, which is why we are already in the process of preparing ourselves for what is yet to come. Along these lines, we have already defined and updated our strategic priorities for a comprehensive transformation. As part of our mission to become Turkey’s most valuable and preferred industry firm, we have started to improve our culture of innovation to take quicker steps towards this transition. Since we also believe that it is important for our suppliers to be ready for what awaits us in the future, we are continuing to do our best to support them in shaping the future.
